Returns Policy

Babe, we want you to LOVE your new swimwear as much as we do.

 

We don't want you to be stuck with a style you aren't in love with (like some other swimwear brands force you to!) So if you don't like it you can return it to us within 21 days and we'll give you a store credit to swap it over for something else, as long as our requirements are met below.

 

This page sets out the Terms & Conditions of purchasing on mossandmalibu.com and is applicable to all customers. Moss & Malibu reserves the right to reject the returns of goods which are not returned in accordance with our Returns Policy.


RETURN / EXCHANGE REQUIREMENTS

If you change your mind about an item purchased, need to change the size or want a different item instead, we will happily issue you with a store credit, provided it meets the below requirements:

  • Garment(s) are in original condition, unworn, unaltered and unwashed with original packaging, tags and hygiene labels. Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear and tags are not removed until you are sure you want to keep the item. In the interest of hygiene, we will strictly refuse returns of items where tags have been removed and/or the hygiene stickers have been altered/removed/tampered with or replaced.
  • Bikinis sold as a set must be returned in full as a set.
  • Returns Form is completed and enclosed in returns package.
  • Garments are returned within 21 days of delivery. After this date, your bikini has found it's forever home.

 

All returns are automatically issued store credit. This process will be completed within 2 business days upon receiving the returned parcel.

In compliance with relevant State Laws, refunds will only be honoured on products with manufacturing faults and we are unable to offer a replacement or repair of that style. If you believe an item is faulty, do not wear it as this can affect on your eligibility for refund. Email us right away contact@mossandmalibu.com

POSTAGE OF RETURNED GOODS

Moss & Malibu does not accept responsibility of return packages that are delayed, misdelivered or missing, so it is advised that when shipping returns customers select a service that provides tracking.

PLEASE NOTE: Duty, tax and/or shipping costs incurred on a returned order is at the customers’ expense and cannot be refunded or reimbursed in any way.

REFUNDS (IF APPLICABLE)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. This will show on your credit card statement or PayPal account in 1-8 business days, depending on your bank.



LATE (OR MISSING) REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

SALE ITEMS

All sale items are final and strictly cannot be refunded or returned.

GIFTS

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift card for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift card will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund/credit to the gift giver and he/she will find out about your return.

DAMAGES IN TRANSIT

Moss & Malibu does it's best to protect your items in transit, by using boxes for the garments and durable mailing satchels. If your parcel arrives damaged, opened or torn, please open a case with your postal provider. Moss & Malibu cannot be held responsible for damages in transit.

INCORRECT SIZE OR STYLE SENT

Should the incorrect item or size be sent by us, contact us right away so we can rectify the error. Return costs will be reimbursed by Moss & Malibu (regular shipment only). This applies only to incorrect sizes at the fault of Moss & Malibu, and not incorrect size(s) ordered by the customer.


WHAT IS FORCE MAJEURE? HOW DOES IT AFFECT ORDERS?
Force Majeure is the unforeseeable circumstances that prevent someone from fulfilling a contract. This includes war, riots, strikes, government actions, amended legislation, natural disasters including but not limited to flooding, blizzards, volcanic explosions, fire etc, sabotage, accident and well as customs and delivery/couriers delays.

It is a law the releases Moss & Malibu from obligations in events beyond Moss & Malibu's control. We will assist to our best ability but cannot refund in any way or alter the outcome once these events have occurred. Delivery complaints and feedback will be passed onto the relevant companies should they occur but are in no way at the fault of Moss & Malibu.
